WHO IS THE NINJA?
Hey! I’m Sally. I like food, eat food, hunt for the next best foodie dish, shop for food, cook food and talk about food (basically in that order). I’m half Asian, half British, raised in Australia and you could say I’m the human version of fusion. My love for food is genetically hardwired into my DNA. Growing up with a mother who could recreate any dish just by tasting it, introduced me to different dishes from a ripe young age.
In 2010 I decided to move half way across the world with a suitcase and a camera. The goal in mind was to see and capture all the wonders of the world. On my journey I met my husband and together our love for food took over! It wasn’t until 2015 when he made me realize that my lens no longer focused on the sights each country had to offer but the dishes we were so fortunate to discover. Now the saying goes “the camera eats first!!!”
So your going to a foreign country or even city for the first time (or maybe the second) and you want to try the local dishes but you don’t know where to eat or most importantly what to order. There are always too many options and you wonder, is it any good? Welcome to my world! Flying Food Ninja was born so that I (the Ninja) could share with you, through my lens, my globe trotting, stomach filling journey to foodie heaven. By combining my photography with a reader friendly format and sleek presentation, Flying Food Ninja attempts to capture the essence of each restaurant and bring its cuisine to life. If you come away feeling hungry and eager to try new restaurants & dishes from around the world, then I have done my job.
WARNING! By no means am I a professional food critic and this is definitely not one of those “I know way more than you” sites. Its merely a “hey I ate this, I took a picture first and this is what I thought.” Happy Eating!
WHY FLYING FOOD NINJA?
Because I’m a foodie who is always flying to different parts of the world with a mission to conquer the next best dish.
